Using the Broken Arrow septic pumping list

Septic pumping Broken Arrow, on this page, means a Department of Environmental Quality septage pumper record that uses Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as the mailing city. Counted on 22 October 2026 from the 227 listing cards on the home page and the companies hub, 3 of those records use Broken Arrow as the mailing city. Homeowners in Broken Arrow and the rest of Tulsa area usually need a routine pump-out, help after a backup, or a clear answer about portable-toilet versus house-tank work — confirm the exact job when you call.

Oklahoma city names on this directory are roster locations, not service-area promises. A company based in another city may or may not drive to Broken Arrow. Ask about your street, tank type, and timing before you treat a card as a match.

This site does not book the job and does not invent emails, streets, or star ratings. Sister site Oklahoma Aerobic Guide is for aerobic installers. If you need the tank emptied, stay on this list.

When Broken Arrow says City sewer is available

Ordinance No. 3746, passed and approved on 20 September 2022, amends the City’s International Residential Code rules in Chapter 6, Section 6-37. The added public-sewer sentence says: “Public sewer shall be considered available to a building when the building is located within three hundred feet (300') of the public sewer.”

The distance in that sentence runs from the building to the public sewer. Ask Broken Arrow Water Resources what it means for your lot before you replace a tank. The office printed on the City’s FROG page is Water Resources Division, 485 North Poplar Avenue, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, 918-258-3587. That number is a City office, not a pumping company. The ordinance text read on 22 October 2026 sets the distance and leaves the timing of any connection to that City question.

Pipe depth at the tank

The same ordinance amends sewer depth. It says: “Building sewers that connect to private sewage disposal systems shall be a minimum of eighteen inches (18") below finished grade at the point of septic tank connection unless otherwise approved.” The next sentence says: “Building sewers that connect to a public sewer shall be a minimum of eighteen inches (18") below finished grade.”

On a house that still uses a septic tank, the pipe that meets the tank is at least 18 inches below finished grade, unless otherwise approved. A pumper looking for the lid and the inlet should expect that inlet to sit below the lawn. The ordinance states the depth of the pipe at the tank connection. Lid depth is a separate question for the pumper on site.

What not to flush

The City of Broken Arrow Fats, Rags, Oil and Grease (FROG) page says wipes and other sanitary items made with cotton should not be flushed. It says: “Even if they are sold as ‘flushable’, the products do not break down or dissolve.” They clog sewer lines and sewer pump stations.

The same page says to cool vegetable-based cooking oil and take it to the M.E.T Recycle Center at 302 N. Elm Pl. It tells households to put meat drippings, bacon grease, and fat in the trash, and to keep that fat out of the recycle bin, because the City treats it as a different waste than vegetable-based cooking oil.

Check the pumper

The Department of Environmental Quality licensed septage pumpers and transporters page says: “Oklahoma law requires a license for anyone engaged in the business of pumping, hauling or disposing of domestic wastewater (septage) from septic tanks, holding tanks, chemical toilets, or any other similar wastewater holding tanks.” The same page says licenses shall be renewed by submitting a renewal application each year on or before January 31 after the date of issuance. Check that list, and ask the company for the current license, before you hire. This directory does not issue licenses.
